Son Yeon-jae Wins Two Medals at FIG World Cup

South Korean rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae won a silver medal in hoop and a bronze medal in ribbon at an International Federation of Gymnastics (FIG) competition in Russia.
 
Son finished second with 18-point-600 points in hoop at the last day of the world cup rhythmic gymnastics game’s individual events finals held in Kazan on Saturday.
 
Yana Kudryavtseva of Russia was the winner in hoop with a score of 19-point-200 points.
 
In ribbon, Son came in third with 18-point-500. She finished fourth in ball and clubs with 18-point-600 and 18-point-650, respectively.
 
On Friday, Son earned a career-high 74-point-900 points in the individual all-around but failed to win a medal as she ranked fourth.
 
Son will continue to train in Russia before moving to Brazil later this month for the Rio Summer Olympics.
