Ringo Starr to Hold 1st S. Korean Concert in Nov.

Ringo Starr, the drummer of the legendary group, The Beatles, will hold his first concert in South Korea later this year.

According to organizers on Monday, the concert will open in November as part of the fall world tour of the Ringo Starr And His All-Starr Band.

Starr’s trip to South Korea is expected to draw the attention of local Beatles fans as it comes after another former Beatles member Paul McCartney performed in South Korea in May last year.

Renowned guitarist Steve Lukather of the rock band Toto and guitarist and songwriter Todd Rundgren of Utopia will also perform with Starr in November.

While being the drummer of the British band, Starr also provided vocals in the songs “With a Little Help from My Friends” and “Yellow Submarine.”

Organizers said they will later reveal the date and venue for the upcoming concert.
