7th Korean Film Festival in Australia to Open in Mid-August

The Korean Cultural Center in Sydney will hold a monthlong Korean film festival from August tenth.
 
Jointly hosted by the Seoul-based Korean Film Archive and sponsored by Samsung Australia, the festival will feature 20 Korean movies, including “Assassination” by Choi Dong-hoon and “Veteran” by Ryoo Seung-wan.
 
It will open with the movie “Fourth Place” directed by Jeong Ji-woo, while Lee Joon-ik’s “Dongju, The Portrait of a Poet” will be the closing film.

The Korean film festival will tour key Australian cities, such as Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth during its 34-day run. Ticket reservations will begin on July 18th and more details and screening schedules are available on the Web site “www.koffia.com.au.”
