South Korean weightlifter Im Jyoung-hwa, who finished fourth in the women's 48 kilogram category at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, will now be awarded the bronze medal, after the event's silver medalist failed a doping test.

The International Olympic Committee(IOC) said Friday that Sibel Ozkan of Turkey has been disqualified from the 2008 Olympics and ordered to forfeit her silver medal. The IOC said Ozkan tested positive for the banned substance stanozolol in recent re-tests of her urine sample.

Then bronze medalist Chen Wei-ling of Taiwan is set to be upgraded to silver.
