The digital version of the Michelin Guide that rates restaurants in Seoul will be featured on a platform based on South Korean Internet portal Naver.
Michelin Korea announced on Friday that it adopted a digital partnership agreement with Naver for the issuance of the Michelin Guide’s Seoul edition.
Under the agreement, the two companies will establish a platform for the digital version of the guide and also add features such as letting users make online reservations and providing digital magazines.
The online version of the guide will be available in both Korean and English, enabling foreign tourists to make reservations or check out restaurants according to a provided map.
The Michelin Guide’s Seoul edition is set to be published for the first time at the end of this year.
South Korea will become the 27th nation in the world and the fourth in Asia to have a Michelin Guide on its restaurants.
