The Busan International Magic Festival has kicked off its four-day run in the southern port city Busan.

In its eleventh year, the largest magic festival in Asia held its opening ceremony on Thursday at the Busan Cinema Center Sky Hall. 

The Night Gala Show, the highlight of the ceremony, featured world class magicians including the International Federation of Magic Societie(FISM) world champion Yu Ho-jin and famed mind reader Max Maven.

A preopening ceremony reception was attended by Jung Gyung-jin, Busan's vice mayor for administrative affairs, lawmaker Ha Tae-keung, joint chairman of the festival's organizing committee, and Domenico Dante, president of the International Federation of Magic Societies.
