S. Korea Wins First Gold in Rio in Men's Archery

South Korea’s archery team won the country’s first gold medal in the Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
 
In the men’s team archery event on Saturday at Sambodromo, the trio of Kim Woo-jin, Ku Bon-chan and Lee Seung-yun defeated the United States team with the set score of 6-0.
 
South Korea won the Olympic gold medal in the men’s team archery event three straight times from 2000 to 2008 but ranked third in the 2012 London Olympics. With this victory against the team from the United States, the country reclaimed top spot.
