Korean Culture Center in Brussels to Host Comics Exhibit

The Korean Cultural Center in Brussels on Friday said that it is hosting the third South Korea-Belgium Manhwa Exhibition from September first to October 22nd.

Manhwa is Korean for comics and this year's exhibition is themed on "our family's song."

Works by Belgian and Korean cartoonists will be displayed including "Mothers" by Ma Yeong-sin.

On the exhibition's first day on September first, participating artists will come out to speak with spectators, while South Korean jazz vocalist Lee Ji-hye will perform sound tracks from Korean and Belgian animated films.
