Various events will be held to celebrate the opening of the nation’s largest shopping and tourism festival “Korea Sale FESTA," which will run from September 29th to October 31st.
 
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said Wednesday that opening shows featuring K-pop stars and an array of events will be held under the title of “Enjoy! Korea Sale FESTA” from September 30th to October third near Gangnam Boulevard and the COEX convention center in southern Seoul.
 
Opening shows will air live on KBS and recordings will be broadcast in 120 countries around the world.
 
Celebratory events will also showcase the nation’s brands, culture, cosmetics, fashion, food and tourism attractions.
 
Organizers will post and update event schedules on the official Web site (www.koreasalefesta.kr) starting early September.
