Strait Times: S. Korean Siamese Twins to be Separated

A Singaporean daily says South Korean baby girls joined at the spine will undergo an operation in Singapore to be separated. The Strait Times said Saturday the parents of the three-month old Siamese twins underwent various tests at Raffles Hospital. The reports said that if separated soon, the twin girls will get a chance to develop as normal children. Joined at the tail bone at a slight angle, the twins can lie down only on one side.
