An Asian film forum and business showcase will be held in Busan next month on the sidelines of the 21st Busan International Film Festival.
Set to be held from October ninth to the eleventh, the event “Link of Cine-Asia” consists of three parts: a business matching program for films; a forum on cinematic technology; and an introduction of an Asian film academy in Busan.
The business matching program is to help a selection of movie projects find investors. Among 41 film projects which have been submitted, five projects will be selected in each genre and presentations will be held to attract major film studios, producers and agents for investments.
The cinematic technology forum will mainly deal with virtual reality. Various other events will also be held to boost networks among filmmakers at home and abroad.
This year’s Busan International Film Festival will open on October sixth and run through the 15th.
