Seoul City will host the country’s first film festival showcasing movies created from the perspective of drones.

The Seoul ICARUS Drone International Film Festival(SEDIFF) is set to open next Friday for a seven-day run in Yeouido.

The organizing committee said on Wednesday at a news conference that it attracted about 15-hundred submissions spanning 101 countries and among them 66 films from 24 countries were selected.

The final selections include films from diverse countries including Iran, Afghanistan, Serbia and Cyprus as well as the United States and India.
