The Michelin Guide, an internationally respected source that rates restaurants, has awarded the Michelin star accolade to 24 restaurants in Seoul.
 
Michelin Korea on Monday unveiled the Michelin Guide Seoul, the 28th edition of its international collection.
 
Upscale restaurants La Yeon at Shilla Hotel in Seoul and Gaon located in Chungdam-dong, Gangnam District earned three stars.
 
Roughly 140 restaurants and some 30 hotels were included in the Michelin Guide Seoul.
 
Michelin Guide said Seoul is a place that houses a diverse gastronomic culture as it has both popular Korean eateries as well as restaurants for fine dining.
