World Baseball Classic First Round Pool A Schedule Set

The schedule for Pool A of the World Baseball Classic's first round of games, which will be held in Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome next March, has been finalized.
 
Pool A comprises South Korea, the Netherlands, Taiwan and Israel.
 
South Korea will face Israel on March sixth, the Netherlands on the seventh and Taiwan on the ninth. All Korean games will begin at 7 p.m.
 
The schedule for exhibition games ahead of the first round has also been set.
 
All Pool A teams will hold two exhibition games with either Sangmu(Korean Armed Forces) Baseball Team or Korean Police Baseball Team between March second and fifth.
 
In round two, the winners and runners-up of Pool A and Pool B, which comprises Japan, Cuba, China and Australia, will play against each other in a round-robin match in Tokyo between March 12th and 16th.
