Swimmer Park Tae-hwan Wins Third Gold at Short-Course Championship

South Korean swimmer Park Tae-hwan has grabbed his third gold medal at the world's top short-course competition.
 
Park won the one-thousand-500-meter race at the 13th FINA World Short Course Swimming Championships in Windsor, Canada on Sunday with a time of 14 minutes 15-point-51 seconds, breaking both the meet and Asian record.
 
World record holder Gregorio Paltrinieri of Italy came in second while Wojciech Wojdak of Poland finished third.
 
Park, who won gold in the 200-meter and 400-meter freestyle at Windsor, finished seventh in the 100-meter freestyle at his final race of the competition.
