Christian Council of Korea Calls for Serving Needy This Christmas

The Christian Council of Korea(CCK) says it hopes Christ's love reaches South Korea, the people of the North as well as the world this Christmas.

Pastor Lee Young-hoon, president of the CCK, said in a Christmas message that Christ came to empty, come down to the people's level and save people from sins.

He said that love moved people from death to life and led them to escape wrath to live in grace.

Lee said Christ's life was a journey of serving others and sharing and the road that his disciples should take.

He hoped that Christians will love, serve and embrace the isolated, the sick and needy this Christmas.
