S. Korean Skeleton Racer Yun Wins Bronze in IBSF World Cup

South Korean skeleton racer Yun Sung-bin has won consecutive medals in two tournaments at the 2016/2017 IBSF Bobsled and Skeleton World Cup.

At the second stop on this winter’s ISBF circuit held in Lake Placid on Friday, the 22-year-old secured a bronze in the men's event with a combined time of one minute and 46-point-94 seconds in two races.

Aleksandr Tretyakov of Russia, a gold medalist at the 2014 Sochi Games, took the gold. The silver went to American Matthew Antoine.

South Korea's national skeleton team including Yun will return home Monday. The third round of the IBSF World Cup is slated for Germany early next year.

IBSF stands for the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation.
