South Korean star pianists will hold concerts to celebrate the New Year.

Pianist Paik Kun-woo will perform Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul on January fourth accompanied by the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Polish conductor Antoni Wit.

In his first home concert following his winning of the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in October 2015, Cho Seong-jin will perform in Seoul on January third and fourth.
 
His playlist for the Seoul concert includes Alban Berg’s Piano Sonata, Franz Schubert’s Piano Sonata No. 19 and Fryderyk Chopin’s Four Ballades and 24 Preludes for Piano.
