Kim Yu-na Might Claim Gold Amid Doping Probe on Russian Olympic Champion

South Korean figure skating star Kim Yu-na could claim the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic gold medal as gold medalist Adelina Sotnikova is facing a doping investigation.

Russia's R-Sport news agency said the Russian figure skater is on the World Antidoping Agency's list of 28 Russian athletes whose urine samples were allegedly doctored during the Sochi Olympics. They are now facing investigation by the International Olympic Committee.

If Sotnikova is disqualified for doping, the gold medal will likely go to Kim. Kim, who won the gold medal at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, won a silver medal in the women's singles event in Sochi, finishing more than five points behind Sotnikova.
