Officials said Sunday that North Korea agreed to send a 529-member delegation to the South for next month's Summer Universiade in Daegu.

The contingent will compose of 200 athletes and sports officials, along with 310 supporters and 19 journalists, who will travel to the South and return home by air.

North Korea's participation fulfills one part of a 12-point agreement reached at a working-level meeting the two Koreas held Friday and Saturday to discuss the North's participation in the August athletic meet being held in the South's third largest city.

The two Koreas also agreed to march together under a unification flag, which depicts a blue Korean Peninsula against a white background. North and South have previously done so during the 2000 Sydney Olympics and last year's Asian Games.
