South Korean striker Son Heung-min of the Tottenham Spurs in the English Premier League has scored his ninth goal of the season.

In a match against Manchester City on Saturday, Son tied the game in the 77th minute when his team was trailing 2-1. The game ended in a 2-2 draw.

With the goal, Son scored a record nine goals in one season for a Korean player in the English Premier League. The previous record of eight goals was set by former Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-sung during the 2014-2015 season and Ki Sung-yeung of Swansea City during the 2010 and 2011 season.
