S. Korean Skeleton Racer Yun Wins Silver in IBSF World Cup

South Korean skeleton racer Yun Sung-bin has won a silver medal for two consecutive events of the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) Men’s Skeleton World Cup.

At the sixth stop on the 2016-2017 IBSF circuit held in Konigsee, Germany on Saturday, Yun secured a silver in the men’s event with a combined time of one minute and 40-point-46 seconds in two races.

Aleksandr Tretyakov of Russia, a gold medalist at the 2014 Sochi Games, took the gold with a time of one minute and 40-point-41 seconds.

Yun won a total of one-thousand-213 points to reclaim the top place in the IBSF men’s world rankings, beating out Latvia's Martins Dukurs by one point.
