South Korea has added five more gold medals in ice events at the Asian Winter Games on Wednesday.
Speed skater Lee Seung-hoon captured his second gold by finishing the men's ten-thousand meters at 13 minutes 18-point-56 seconds at Obihiro Forest Speed Skating Rink.
Speed skater Kim Bo-reum picked up the gold medal in the women's five-thousand meters by coming in at seven minutes 12-point-58 seconds.
In short track, Shim Suk-hee captured gold in the women's one-thousand meters with a time of one minute 30-point-475 seconds.
Short track speed skater Seo Yi-ra claimed gold in the men's one-thousand meters by clocking in at one-minute 24-point-062 seconds.
South Korea also captured the women's three-thousand meters relay gold in short track speed skating. The team of Shim Suk-hee, Choi Min-jeong, Noh Do-hee and Kim Ji-yoo finished their race in four minutes and ten-point-515 seconds. Shim and Choi each ended their Winter Asian Games with two gold medals.
With five gold medals added, South Korea is ranked second in the overall medal tally with eleven gold medals as of Wednesday afternoon.
