Kim Bo-reum also won gold in the women’s five-thousand-meter speed skating event.

Short track speed skater Shim Suk-hee brought home gold from the women’s 1,000-meter event and then added another in the 3,000-meter relay, with her teammates Choi Min-jeong, Kim Ji-yoo and Noh Do-hee.

Seo Yi-ra added another gold in short track, winning the men’s 1,000-meter event.

Cumulatively, South Korea has won 12 gold medals during the first four days at the eight-day sporting event, including five from short track speed skating, and four from speed skating.
