The prosecutor's office investigating charges of bribery being levelled against ruling Millenium Democratic Party leader Chyung Dai-chul said Sunday it would summon Chyung for questioning by Wednesday at the latest.

The prosecution also stated that it has collected additional testimony asserting that Chyung took bribes in addition to the 420 million won (US$356,160) he admits to receiving during the 2002 presidential election's campaign period.

The prosecutor's office also announced that it would inform Chyung of its intention to deliver a subpoena to him on charges of bribery as early as possible.
