KBS 1TV has been picked as the country’s most satisfying terrestrial television channel for the eighth consecutive year.
 
The Korea Information Society Development Institute(KISDI) said on Monday that the public broadcaster's TV channel came first in a broadcast program viewer satisfaction survey for the year 2016. 
 
KBS 1TV also outperformed other terrestrial channels in credibility, public benefit and informativeness.
 
The results are based on the surveys of 48-thousand people between the ages of 13 and 69 around the nation last year. KISDI was commissioned by the Korea Communications Commission to conduct the research.
