S. Korea Defeats Slovenia 5-1 at Women's Hockey World Championship

South Korea is off to a strong start at the women's hockey world championships in Gangneung, Gangwon Province.
 
Team Korea, coached by American Sarah Murray, defeated Slovenia five-one in its first game at the International Ice Hockey Federation Women's World Championship Division II Group A at Gangneung Hockey Center on Sunday.
 
South Korea aims to win all five games at the tournament as it prepares for the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, which is only ten months away.
 
South Korea will compete against the U.K. at nine p.m. on Monday.
