Son Heung-min Scores 9th Regular Match Goal of Season

South Korean striker Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur scored his ninth regular season goal on Wednesday, helping his club beat host Swansea City 3-1.
 
Son scored a goal in the final minutes of the 31st round of the 2016-2017 season of the English Premier League held at Liberty Stadium in Swansea, Wales.
 
It was the 24-year-old South Korean’s ninth goal during the regular league matches of the season, and his 16th during the season, including six goals in the FA Cup and one goal in the UEFA Champions League.
 
With Wednesday’s goal, Son is now the highest-scoring South Korean player in any given season of the Premier League. Ki Sung-yueng of Swansea City scored eight goals during the 2014-2015 season.
