A K-pop contest was held in the Italian capital city Rome on Saturday.

Fourteen teams that passed the preliminary round showcased their K-pop talent in the contest, which was held on the sidelines of Romics, a semi-annual comic book, animation, and gaming convention.

The Korean Culture Center in Italy sponsored the contest and provided prizes for the winning contestants.

The center plans to hold a large-scale K-pop contest in Italy in October to celebrate the first anniversary of the center.
