Average S. Korean Consumed 500 Cups of Coffee in 2016

The average South Korean man was found to have consumed 500 cups of coffee last year.
 
According to coffee industries last Sunday, a little over 25 billion cups of coffee were consumed in South Korea in 2016, up 25 percent compared to 2006.
 
The total consumption is translated to five hundred per person in the 50-million South Korean population.
 
Consumption of instant coffee mix took up the largest portion with well over 13 billion cups followed by canned coffee and other coffee drinks, totaling almost three-point-eight billion cups and ground coffee totaling three-point-six billion cups.
