More Siberian Tigers to Live in Northeastern Forest

A few Siberian tigers in Seoul Grand Park will be released in a mountain range in Bonghwa, North Gyeongsang Province around June.

The Korea Forest Service said on Wednesday that it is conducting medical check-ups on one male and two female Siberian tigers before transporting them to "Tiger Forest" in the National Baekdu-Daegan Arboretum.

In January, two male Siberian tigers were moved to the five-thousand hectare forest for tigers but one of them died nine days after the transfer.
