South Korean golfer, Han Hee-won, is making another run at an elusive LPGA title.

Han fired a five-under par 66 to match American Cindy Figg-Currier for the lead after two rounds of the Big Apple Classic now underway in New Rochelle, New York.

Han, last year's runner-up after a playoff loss at the LPGA event, equaled her American rival at eight-under par 134 after 36 holes in the 950-thousand-dollar event. They are two strokes ahead of 46-year-old Beth Daniel, who became the oldest winner in LPGA history last week at the Canadian Open.

First-round leader Mi Hyum Kim, also of Korea, struggled to a 71 to share fourth place with three other players at 137.
