EU Ambassadors to Visit Schools in Seoul

Ambassadors from European Union (EU) member nations stationed in Korea will visit middle and high schools in Seoul to give lectures on European culture under a program run by the Seoul education office.

The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education said on Sunday that it will operate the “EU Goes to School” program from next month, in which 21 ambassadors from EU states and the Delegation of the EU to South Korea will visit 63 schools to introduce their country’s culture to local students.

EU Ambassador to South Korea Michael Reiterer will visit Yeoido High School on Monday as part of the program.

The program has been jointly operated by the education office and the EU Delegation since 2014.
