Average South Koreans are found to be multitasking during a quarter of the time they use smartphones.
 
The Korea Information Society Development Institute said Wednesday that Koreans spend an average of 27-point-seven percent of their total smartphone usage while also reading, watching TV or doing other things.  
 
The institute analyzed the daily smartphone activities submitted by almost 10-thousand people from more than four-thousand households last year.
 
The most common forms of multitasking were talking on the phone or sending texts while using other media.
