A provincial official announced Tuesday that international ferry service between the South Korean port city of Mokpo and Shanghai, China will resume in October.
Ferries will take 24 hours to travel the Mokpo-Shanghai route and will also make port calls at the South Korean resort island of Jeju.
The service will be available on Tuesdays and Fridays.
