Korean Cultural Center in Spain to Showcase Traditional, Modern Culture at Festival

The Korean Cultural Center in Spain says it will hold a festival to showcase Korea's traditional as well as modern culture from May 29th to July eighth.
 
The festival will begin with a three-day event to introduce traditional Korean paper known as hanji. The event will include workshops, a fashion show and an exhibition of handicrafts made of hanji.
 
In June, concerts, the nonverbal dance performance Jump, a photo exhibition featuring some of Korea's most well-known photographers and talks with Korean poets are planned.
 
On July eighth, a K-pop cover dance contest will be held. It will act as the Spanish preliminary for the K-pop World Festival which will be held in Korea in September.
 
The cultural center will also hold a Korean speaking contest and show Korean films during the festival.
