The annual sand festival has kicked off a four-day run Friday at Haeundae Beach in Busan on the nation's southern coast.
 
The 2017 Haeundae Sand Festival will feature oversized sand artworks.
 
Including Jooheng Tan of Singapore, ten renowned sand sculptors from South Korea, the U.S., Canada, the Netherlands, and Russia will display their short lasting masterpieces through Monday next week. 

The organizers of the festival will also provide fun events for visitors, including sand-golf games.
