The Korean Broadcasting System(KBS) has opened a Korean language academy in Hanoi, Vietnam.
 
The academy named the Hanoi CNR Education center will offer practical and effective Korean language lessons to Vietnamese people, using various popular KBS programs.
 
An official at the center said that the combined use of offline, online and mobile lessons will generate greater educational results by allowing students to study Korean easily at any time or place.
 
The demand for Korean language education is growing in Vietnam, with more South Korean companies advancing in the country.
 
In particular, the Vietnamese Education Ministry is seeking to adopt Korean as a second foreign language within this year.
