South Korea will run its own booth at an international animated film market, which will open in Annecy, France, on Tuesday.
 
Twelve domestic animation studios, including Studio Gale, the producer of the international hit “Pororo the Little Penguin,” will take part in the Korean booth, which will be jointly operated by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency(KOTRA), the Seoul Business Agency and the Gyeonggi Content Agency.
 
While inviting European buyers to one-on-one business consultations, KOTRA will also hold talks with French and Italian broadcasters about the distribution of Korean animations in Europe.
 
It will also discuss coproduction projects with Universal Pictures France.
