South Korea has won four medals, including two golds, on the opening day of the 2017 Asian Fencing Championships.
 
Ha Tae-gyu won the men’s individual foil by beating Hong Kong’s Cheung Ka Long 15-11 during the event’s final at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong on Thursday.
 
Son Young-ki won the bronze medal at the same event.
 
In the women’s individual sabre, South Korea earned a gold and a silver, with Kim Ji-yeon beating Seo Ji-yeon 15-11 in the final.
