Swimmer Park Tae-hwan Wins Two Golds Ahead of Int'l Championships

South Korean swimmer Park Tae-hwan has won his second gold medal in an international swimming competition in Italy.

Park finished first in the men’s 200 meter freestyle at the Sette Colli Trophy in Rome on Saturday, with a time of one minute 46-point-89 seconds.

On Friday, Park won the 400 meter freestyle with a time of three minutes 44-point-54 seconds, beating Australia’s Mack Horton, a gold medalist at last year’s Rio Olympics.

Park is set to compete in the FINA World Aquatics Championships in Budapest starting July 23.
