S. Korea Wins Men's, Women's Compound Team Titles at Archery World Cup

South Korea has won gold medals in both compound men’s and women’s team events for the first time while competing at the Hyundai Archery World Cup.

In the final of the compound women’s team at the third stage of the World Archery World Cup series in Salt Lake City, United States on Sunday, Choi Bo-min, So Chae-won and Song Yun-soo defeated the Netherlands in a shootout after tying the contest at 229.

The trio of Choi Yong-hee, Hong Sung-ho and Kim Jong-ho also beat Italy 230-229 in the men’s compound.

South Korean archers will continue to compete in individual and team recurve matches on Monday.
