Korea Has Highest Number of Elderly Workers among OECD Members

South Korea and Japan have been found to have the highest number of elderly workers among members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. A report by the international body showed that the average age Koreans exited the job market stood at 67-point-one for men and 67-point-five for women. This was almost on a par with average 69-point-one for men and 66 for women in Japan. The statistics also revealed that the percentage of people over 65 who participated in labor activities in Korea reached 29-point-six percent, a bit short of Mexico
