S. Korea to Hold Korea Culture Week in Iran

South Korea will hold a cultural event to enhance its 13-hundred years of relations with Iran.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said on Monday that it will hold the Korea Culture Week event in the Iranian capital city Tehran from Monday through Saturday.

The week-long event was organized to promote cultural exchanges between the two nations and publicize the beauty of Korean traditional culture in Iran, which has continued exchanges with Korea since the ancient kingdom of Silla.

The cultural event features exhibitions of calligraphy and Korean traditional crafts at Milad Tower from Monday to Friday. The National Orchestra of Korea will perform Arirang Fantasy on Saturday at Vahdat Hall.
