Park Seon-min, a candidate to become a national athlete, has set a Korean record in the women's ten meter air rifle event.

At the 29th Nationwide University Shooting Championship held at Daegu Shooting Range on Tuesday, Park won the gold medal in the final round with a score of 250-point-six.

That's point-one more than the previous domestic record set by Kim Jin-ah in April last year in a non-university tournament.

Park demonstrated remarkable concentration firing 22 out of 24 shots in the ten point range in the finals.

Gwon Da-young had 23 shots score in the ten point range and took silver with a total score of 249-point-nine.

Jeong Ji-hyeon grabbed the bronze with 227-point-five points.
