This summer’s riverside festival will open next week and be held at eleven parks along the Han River for a month.
 
The Seoul city government said on Tuesday that a total of 80 programs will be run under the theme of rediscovering the Han River.
 
An opening ceremony will take place at Banpo Hangang Park on July 21st.  
 
The Banpo Park will also host a global food festival from August 13th to 15th to showcase local cuisines from around the world.
 
One hundred food trucks will gather at the park every Sunday during the month to set up a night market against the backdrop of the river’s nightscape.
    
A jazz festival, a massive water fight, a paper boat race and a bicycle riding event will also be held during the festival.
