Research Suggests 3 Cups of Coffee a Day Extends Life Expectancy

New research suggests that three cups of coffee a day can extend life expectancy.

France's AFP news agency reports findings from a study conducted by the International Agency for Research on Cancer(IARC) and Imperial College London.

Researchers observed more than 500-thousand people aged 35 and up in ten different European countries and found that people drinking three cups of coffee every day have a tendency to live longer than those not drinking coffee at all.

The research found higher levels of coffee consumption were associated with a reduced risk of death from nearly all causes.

Despite differences in coffee drinking methods and habits in the different countries, the research results were similar in terms of life expectancy.
