World's First LED Movie Screen Debuts in S. Korean Theater

The world’s first LED display movie screen has debuted in South Korea on Thursday.

The light-emitting diode panel replaced the traditional cinema projection screen at the Lotte Cinema movie theater in Lotte World Tower in southern Seoul.

Developed by Samsung Electronics, the ten-point-three by five-point-four meter 'Cinema LED' is composed of 96 LED cabinets.

It's resolution stands at four-thousand 96 by two-thousand 160.
