The 20th Boryeong Mud Festival will open on Friday in Boryeong City, South Chungcheong Province.
 
Officials at the organizing committee of the festival introduced the plans for the ten-day event at Daecheon Beach.

This year, the festival will present a total of 57 programs, ranging from bathing in a massive mud tub to mud massages, a mud photo contest, a marathon on the mud flats, a mud sliding competition, and street parades.
 
The unique event will also feature diverse K-pop concerts including the Daecheon KBS Open Concert on Monday and a special concert by global star Psy on Tuesday.
