The nation failed to add a medal on Wednesday, the last day of the International Fencing Federation World Championships being held in Leipzig, Germany, as the Korean team lost 28-33 to Poland in the women’s epee to rank fourth.
 
The South Korean men’s team finished fifth in the team foil.
 
South Korea ranked third in the overall tally at the championships, after Italy and Russia.
